John established Marwood in 1990, initially delivering residential housing projects before strategically transitioning the business into the industrial sector in 1994. With over 35 years of experience across both commercial and residential property markets, John provides enduring leadership, deep market insight, and a proven track record in delivering high-quality developments. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management.

Max joined Marwood in May 2025, bringing a strong foundation in industrial property and development. Prior to joining, he spent three years with CBRE’s Industrial & Logistics team, specialising in Melbourne’s western industrial markets, following earlier experience in residential real estate. At Marwood, Max focuses on development strategy and acquisitions, supporting the delivery of high-performing assets. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management) (Honours) and is a licensed estate agent.

Alex joined Marwood in December 2024, contributing a well-rounded skill set across residential real estate, funds management, and accounting. With previous experience at Jellis Craig as a sales agent, he brings a strategic perspective to the planning and delivery of residential developments. Alex holds a double degree in Business (Accounting) and Banking & Finance, underpinning his analytical and commercially driven approach.
